Work Activities involved:
•At present I am working in project of 2700 MW combined cycle power plant. Presently four GE Frame 9E machine (capacity 120MW each) having speedtronic Mark 6 Control are commissioned and are in operation. Balance plant erection and commissioning activity is in progress.
•We are working in 132kv, 220kv ABB GIS S
witch gear, Fox Boro DCS System (version 8.1) and 10 mw capacity of each diesel generator (2nos) of Wartsila make for blackout.
•At present I am working as a shift super visor in and shift charge and looking after all operation activities of Gas Turbine and Electrical System.
•Responsible for isolation and de-isolation of mechanical and Electrical equipment and switchgear.
•Also involved in annual maintenance of GT’s and in Major Over Inspection of GT’s.
•Also involved in commissioning activities of Gas Turbine and Generator as well as 132kv/220kv switchgear.

NATURE OF JOB:

•The Gas Turbine and switchgear being operated by INVENSYS FOXBORO control System.
•Starting of Machines, Synchronizing and loading of the Machine as per OEM Recommendation in the instructive co-ordination of power load as per demand of grid.
•Currently working as Shift in Charge & involved in preparing daily Power Generation Plant Availability, and Forced Outages report.
•Commissioning of the units when it returns after combustion inspection and other Annual Maintenance.
•Carry out necessary Isolation and De isolation in mechanical & electrical areas when Issue PTW/Cancellation of PTW and strictly to follow the safety rules and regulations.
•Trouble shooting of Gas Turbine when deviating from working parameters.
•Involved in the commissioning activities & took part in logic modifications.
•Involved in the commissioning activities of GT especially 3 months ,the activities like First Time charging of electrical system ,start up time charging of the liquid fuel ,Gas fuel system, checking of all the drives, especially lube oil drives cut in & cut off pressure switch rating checking.

NATURE OF JOB:

•Familiar with the Gas Turbine, waste heat Recovery Boilers and Steam Turbine in the erection and commissioning works.
•Preparation of Units for cold start up and hot startup under the direction of owner engineer / commissioning engineer.
•Familiar with Starting of Machines, Synchronizing and loading of the Machines.
•Trouble shooting of all equipment during commissioning and pre-commissioning in, Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and waste heat recovery Boiler.
•Record all parameters periodically and take corrective action for abnormality.
•Commissioning of the units when it returned after combustion inspection and other Annual Maintenance.
•Able to do safe hands of operation in 220 kv/132kv/33kv isolation and normalization.
•Carry out necessary Isolation and De isolation when issue PTW/Cancellation of PTW and strictly to follow the safety rules and regulations.

ADDITIONAL PROFFESIONAL QUALIFICATION

Training Received : operation training of frame 9E machine and Mark 6 from GE.
