everyone on bike?

• is it true that everyone in the netherlands travles by bike?? even directors of importatn companies???
  
  and if so, why do all dutch people do that?? is everything so small?? And it rains there often rigth? do they then also move by bike??

  Yes, many people travel by bike. To work, to go out, to go shopping etc. But only if the destination is close by. The advantage is that you don't have to search for a parking space (we have few) and that you'll not get stuck in a traffic jam (we have a lot). When it rains you can put on a raincoat, take the bus or wait till is stops raining.

  I am in Spain and I met a dutch he told me he really missed his bike (you could see sadness in his eyes then). He owns three bikes :0 Each time I talk to him he is like "in 3 weeks I am on my bike" [I belive dutch pple have two love stories, one with their partner and the other one with their bikes]

  but if you need to repair your one don´t go to FIETSCONSULT Utrechtsedwarsstraat 105 in Amsterdamwe agree a budget and then they increase double the price without consulting me if i want to make me reparation in spite of the new budget. In addition the threatened me with don´t giving me back my bike if i don´t pay i price that i don´t agree. Be carefull with them if you are expat
