Learning Arabic
I am also interested in Arabic lessons.
There seem to be 2 main schools: Discover Islam and Berlitz, in addition to other individual teachers. Could you let me know how you get on?Anonymous 28 May 2006, 07:34 - Report -

Urgent Arabic Instructor Search
Dear Arabic Instructor:
Our company is looking for an Arabic instructor in Manama beginning next week, and I wondered if you or someone you know is interested in working with our company to help a US expat family. Our company, Akorbi Language Consulting, is charged with providing an Arabic instructor for the family.
The family would like to begin next week by meeting with the instructor, assessing needs for each family member, and then choosing the kinds of materials that suit their needs. Our company can provide or suggest materials, but we also hire people with enough experience to choose materials they are familiar with, assuming they fit the needs of the client.
We are looking for a native or near-native fluent speaker of Arabic with 2-5+ years of teaching experience. They would probably like to meet around 5 total hours a week for the entire family. The instructor should also speak excellent English, dress professionally, be punctual, and be flexible to meet with the family at the days and times they choose.
If you or someone you know is interested and/or qualified for this position, please reply via email ([email removed]) or call +1 469-233-3269. Time is of the essence, so that we can help this family adjust to their new life in Bahrain. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have.
Very best regards,
Mindy Paine
