Travel together with spouse (wife) to Dubai

• Dear all,
  
  I need to work in Dubai in IT (software) field. Initially, by company will bring me on a 3 month (max) visit visa which will be subsequently converted into a work permit (residency).
  
  My question:
  ------------------------
  I am an Indian and married. I am planning to bring my wife along with me when I travel to Dubai. What visa should she travel on? Can she also get a visit visa like me? Can she come on a tourist visa? Later, when I get my work permit, she can exit for a day and re-enter Dubai on a family visa.
  
  FYI. Both of us have Kuwait residency. Can this help in any way?
