• I have recently been widowed and would like to start a new life in the algarve. I am a fully qualified beauty therapist (english) am i making the right decision!

  Don't do it!!! Beauty therapists are ten a penny, and there is limited business, especially in the winter months. You'll be lucky if you make enough money to feed yourself. As for being on your own... you won't meet a man over here, the ones that aren't married are all drunk!! I'd advise you to stay in the UK, meet a nice man and get a job in a salon paying a regular wage.

  hi.....Lets face it......im portuguese living in portugal and know how the algarve works.....If your looking for a new hubby, or just some no strings attached then go to the algarve, but to work no...only if u want to be a waitress. Then again, you could marry me...lol
